At Ossory Youth we believe communication with parent and carers is a key part of our work, ensuring that young people are getting the best service possible. By working together, achievements and benefits are enhanced. Parents and carers are informed of the activities, programmes, projects and services that their child is receiving and kept up to date on their progress. We encourage open and frequent communication with our staff and volunteers.
We want to encourage communication between young people and parents. We realise some topics can be awkward or embarrassing… but we are here to help! Our Youth Information Officer can provide workshops or advice on many topics and issues affecting young people such as bullying, sex education, employment, health, education, drugs and alcohol. We can offer support and information on issues affecting your family and opportunities for involvement and volunteering as an adult.
Contact us on 056-7761200 and any of our staff will be happy to help, answer questions or signpost you to relevant services and organisations.
