Club News from the Programme Promoters

Our recently trained programme promoters fill us in on what their club is doing this year so far.

Windgap Youth Club

Emer & Leah from Windgap Youth Club took some time to tell us about what their club has been getting up to.

What have we done?
Some of the things our youth club has done include a Christmas coffee morning and a community clean up. We also ran a toy stall at the local bring and buy. Our members take part in all local activities such as the really fun tractor run and bazzar. Our members also play a role when it comes to applying for grants, we even attend the interviews!

What are we doing now?
At the moment we are in the local hall, we recently took a trip to Kilmacow youth club which was loads of fun! We are currently brainstorming for an overnight trip we hope to take soon. We went on the programme promoters residential where we trained to be young leaders in our youth club.

What are we doing next?
We are planning this years christmas event and our next youth club activities as a group. We would also like to open a community shop.
